In order to simplify the oil analysis program, the following packages have been compiled in order to give a comprehensive number of tests for each application.

Chiller Units

[VTRS-CHL]

• Spectrographic analysis for 20 elements.
• Viscosity at 40 degrees C.
• Total Acid Number (TAN) or Neutralisation Value.
• Particle Quantifier (PQ index).
• Water: Karl Fisher.

Hydraulic Units

[VTRS-HYD]

• Spectrographic analysis for 20 elements.
• Viscosity at 40 degrees C.
• Total Acid Number (TAN) or Neutralisation Value.
• Particle Quantifier (PQ index).
• Water: Karl Fisher.
• Particle count - to ISO 4406.
• Tests Conforming to ASTM/IP methods.

Gearbox Units

[VTRS-GBX]

• Spectrographic analysis for 20 elements.
• Viscosity at 40 degrees C.
• Total Acid Number (TAN) or Neutralisation Value.
• Particle Quantifier (PQ index).
• Water: Go/No Go at 0.1% (crackle test).

Compressor Units

[VTRS-CMP]

• Spectrographic analysis for 20 elements.
• Viscosity at 40 degrees C.
• Total Acid number (TAN) or Neutralisation Value.
• Particle Quantifier (PQ index)
• Water: Go/No Go at 0.1% (crackle test).
• Except axial flow/turbines: Karl Fisher.

Diesel Engine Units

[VTRS-DSL]

• Spectrographic analysis for 20 elements.
• Viscosity at 40 degrees C.
• Total Acid Number (TAN) or Neutralisation Value.
• Particle Quantifier (PQ index).
• Water: Go/No Go at 0.1% (crackle test).

Greased Units

[VTRS-GRE]

• Spectrographic analysis for 20 elements.
• Particle Quantifier (PQ index).
• Water: Karl Fisher

For every oil sample test ordered, the customer will receive a certified clean sample bottle and a self-adhesive label.
